I have been playing baseball since I was 6. I have tried other sports like lacrosse, basketball & track & field, but baseball is my favorite sport. I play on the St. Charles Lutheran High School varsity baseball team. I am a catcher and team captain. In the summers I play in a competitive baseball league called SLABA (St. Louis Area Baseball Assoc) In 2008, I had the honor of being selected to the All-Star Team.
This spring I was priviledged to play in Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals. After the Cards game was over, the 4 local Lutheran high school teams got to play a game in Busch stadium. It was really exciting to know that I was crouching behind the plate in the same patch of dirt that Yadier Molina just played. Yadier is my favorite player. I hope to play baseball in college.
